| Position | Moth Orchids need bright but indirect light. Direct sunlight coming through a window can burn Moth Orchids. |
| Temperature | Phalaenopsis orchids thrive in warm conditions, with ideal temperatures of 20–30°C during the day and 18–25°C at night. Keep temperatures above 10°C in winter. For optimal flowering, maintain a range of 20–24°C. |
| Water | Moth Orchids like their Orchid mix to dry out slightly between watering. Check the moisture level in the Orchid mix by gently digging your finger into the top few centimetres of mix. You will be able to feel whether it’s still moist or it has started to dry out. |
| Fertiliser | Feed with a diluted orchid fertiliser every 2–4 weeks during active growth. A half-strength liquid fertiliser works best. Avoid overfeeding, and cut back during winter. |
| Repotting | Repot every 1–2 years using a fresh orchid bark mix. Choose a pot only slightly larger than the current one, and remove any dead roots before replanting. |

Packing and shipping details
Use good‑strength cardboard boxes that won’t crush or bend. Secure the soil and pot with cling wrap and cable ties. Arrange the leaves nicely and pad them out with cotton. That way the plants stay hydrated and arrive in one piece.
Due care will be taken to package and ship your plant so you will receive it in the best condition possible.
Plants are shipped exclusively via AusPost Express Post and will be packaged to make the journey to your place.
